We had a great start to 2024 as we attended the Virgin Media Gold Medal Awards held in The Galmont Hotel & Spa, Galway. This was the awards 34th year running and is well known across the industry as being the leading independent awards that reward excellence in hospitality. The judging panel of industry experts visited every property that entered & after months of these inspections, named our hotel as the ‘Best Four Star Hotel’ in Ireland.
We were delighted just to be nominated in this category alongside runners up The Armada Hotel in Clare & Harvey’s Point in Donegal. Starting off the awards ceremony with a win was a huge surprise and we are beyond grateful for the recognition. This is a wonderful boost for our team and is a testament to the hard work of our brilliant staff both past and present who have worked hard to make this hotel the special place it is today.
We really have such a great team that go above and beyond for every customer and truly deserved this award. We are looking forward to next year’s event already!
